This 10-page printout makes 40 cards, 4 sorting mats plus a short writing activity.

All cards are color and contain both a picture and a word.

The 4 sorting mats allow your students to learn the difference in the 4 parts of speech.

Colored borders are included to make to task easier for lower-level students. If you want to make it harder, simply trim off the border when you print the activity.

Finally, there is a print and go worksheet for your student to write a sentence. One for each of the 4 parts of speech.

What buyers are saying about this pack:

"My third graders really enjoyed doing this on Valentine's day! It was a great cooperative and language activity for my ELL students as well as an excellent review of parts of speech! Thank you!"

"This was a fun activity for a center, and great visuals for my ENL students."

"I used this activity today with a group of KG students. The goal was to use the visuals and create a descriptive sentence. I used a paper clip and pencil in the middle of the page to help them choose a word and it was great! I love the versatility of the packet. I plan to use it as intended for a group of 1st-2nd graders. Thanks!"
